SILK LAUNDRY

Born in Canada to a Ukrainian mother and Polish father, Katie was raised by a simple ethos: never be wasteful or superfluous. This would become one of the guiding principles of Silk Laundry, which she founded in 2015. Obsessed with slip dresses from her teen years in the 90s, Katie launched the brand with the now iconic 90s Slip Dress.


Choosing silk for its durability and natural lifecycle, Katie wanted to create a brand that combined conscious living with luxury staples. Each garment is made with artisanal craftsmanship, innovative design, and fabrics that take into consideration the impact of materials on our planet.
